i used this one time so far. the day was outrageously hot, i was trying to get some sleep. i put 2 of these frozen under my body. the ice stayed firm and cold for a reasonable amount of time, i got 20 minutes of relief out of it before the ice started to melt down a little and become squishy. i put them back in the freezer. they are ready for action again at any time.
